Sports Day on the 12th, a World Cup countdown, the Eiffel Tower's summer growth spurt, an interactive word search, and a recommendation from the Dungeons & Dragons club.
June events
ISM’s traditional Sports Day took place on June 12 at school. The sporting event was a community-supportive event where everyone at the school got to participate in various track-and-field sporting activities, such as long-distance running, sprinting, shot put or long jump.
The summer is back!
Remember to put on sunscreen — and please, no flip-flops at school.
FIFA World Cup!
Germany’s first match was on Sunday, June 14, against Curaçao. Germany won with an astounding 7-1 victory.
Club spotlight: Dungeons & Dragons
Hi, Im Marnix. I joined the Dungeons and Dragons club. Dungeons and Dragons is a fun roleplaying game. I like this game because you use your creativity. In this game you explore, fight, trade, and talk. Everything depends on a dice. In this club you can laugh, be serious or roleplay. This club is organised by mr. webber for grade 5-10. Highly recommended.

Did you know?
Because of thermal expansion, the Eiffel Tower can grow up to 15 cm (≈6 inches) taller during the summer. The iron structure expands as it absorbs the summer heat, then shrinks back to its normal size once the weather cools.
